As a seminary teacher, you do not create your own lessons. The curriculum is provided for you, and each lesson is designed to include Principles of Christlike Teaching. Read through the slides to learn how to "adopt" the curriculum.

After watching "Introduction to the Seminary Curriculum," click on the lesson link below. In the lesson, underline the lesson purpose and the bolded truth. Then go back through the lesson, marking the elements of Christlike Teaching: focus on Jesus Christ, teach the doctrine (scriptures and words of living prohets), and places where students are invited to participate in learning.

After a period of teaching and getting comfortable with adopting the curriculum, you will see how they are organized and incorporate Principles of Christlike Teaching. Then you will be ready to "adapt" the lessons for your students and your teaching situation. Read through the slides to see how the lessons can be adapted appropriately.
